The ShootOut Podcast 18 September 2017

This week The ShootOut Podcast brings out our first highschool team, and who better than the 7th ranked 5A team in the entire state, the volleyball program from El Paso High! Coach Yesenia Alarcon-Ortega and players Marcell Tiscareno and Emily Perez talk about what it’s like to be on the top–especially when every other team wants to knock them down. No stranger to EPHS, Michael Montes, voice of the Tigers, shares his connections and insight as well.

Then El Paso sports legend Duke Keith joins the crew to talk about what the UTEP Miners plan should be now as the football season continues–and so do the losses. The guys also talk about the infamous Duranguito arena and how we understand the rulings and moving forward, as well as a little on sports inside and outside of El Paso.

Some more on Triple G and Canelo and boxing exposure; Peter’s back, Abel’s gone, and who’s this Ross guy? Montes has a story to tell–stay tuned ’til the end of the podcast to find out about Operation D.S.

All this and more, right here on The ShootOut Podcast.
